He was very easy to coach and fun to have around with our team. He would have this little shot fake that would paralyze larger defenders and would easily shoot over them. Since I did not teach at SCHS I only got to know Jeff and the squad members during games and practices. Jeff was huge in helping other teammates play even better. He was an awesome kid and I was blessed to be able to work with him. His parents are awesome folks and the Thayer Clan is still missed to this day. Thank you, Jeff Thayer and family!
